Dr. Thomas T. Nguyen founded Orange County Cosmetic & Reconstructive Surgery Center with the goal of improving lives through excellence in aesthetic medicine. Every member of our staff is skilled and experienced in his or her specific niche, because providing the best that plastic surgery has to offer is a team effort. We take great pride in the delighted responses and lovely compliments that we receive from our patients, and we look forward to exceeding your expectations.Plastic surgery involves much more than medical expertise. It also requires artistic talent, and a deep understanding of facial and body aesthetics. Perhaps most importantly, the surgeon needs to recognize, appreciate, preserve, and accentuate each person's uniqueness and natural beauty. Asian patients do not want to look western, male patients do not want to look feminine, and female patients do not want to look like each other. There is no single definition of beauty, and plastic surgery should not make everyone look alike; it should transform each person into the most beautiful manifestation of themselves. Dr. Nguyen carefully selected his team members, choosing only those who share his passion and philosophy of patient care.
Dr. Laura Ngo
Director of AnesthesiologyDr Laura Ngo, born in Vietnam but grew up in Denmark, completed her Medical Doctor degree at University of Copenhagen School of Medicine and anesthesia residency training at Nassau University Medical Center Long Island NY.
Being board certified, she specializes in ambulatory same day surgery where the plan of anesthesia incorporates type of surgery, patient’s existing medical condition and predicted requirement of the individual patient for optimal safety, comfort, pain control and speedy recovery.
Whatever spare time she has, she devotes it to family, kids, and hobbies such as cooking, singing, surfing, snowboarding, and tennis.
Karla Sosa, CMA, ST
Surgical TechnologistSecond Language: Spanish
Karla Sosa is a surgical technician (ST) and certified medical assistant (CMT) with nearly two decades of experience. She became a CMT in 1994, and joined Orange County Cosmetic & Reconstructive Surgery Center as a surgical technician in 2000. Karla coordinates every aspect of the OR with precision and efficiently. She is involved in virtually every surgical procedure that Dr. Nguyen performs.
A Magna cum Laude graduate from Millsaps College, Dr. Thomas T. Nguyen is a board certified plastic surgeon. He brings with him a plethora of skill, expertise and knowledge given his 20 plus years of experience in the field.Dr. Nguyen is presently the medical director of Orange County Cosmetic & Reconstructive Surgery Center. He has engaged in research and contributed to many medical publications and continues to be deeply passionate about providing the best possible treatment for his patients.
