During the procedure, Dr. Thuan Nguyen removes excess skin and then repositions the areola for natural-looking results. He also checks to make sure the breasts are symmetrical. At the same time, patients can opt to have implants added for better augmentation of the breast area. This can be done to increase the breast size and improve firmness.
Patients will remain in the recovery area for approximately one hour to ensure patients are able to return home. We recommend patients have someone bring them to their appointment and help take care of them the remainder of the day. Patients will also be educated on how to care for their incisions, what to do with their bandages, and how to encourage proper healing over the next several weeks after the procedure.
